As an aesthetic surgeon and founder of Lexington Plastic Surgeons, I wanted to create a cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery practice devoted to helping people from a wide spectrum of cultural backgrounds build their self-confidence by providing them with cosmetic services to help optimize the way they look and feel about themselves. 

I believe the foundation for creating successful results begins with establishing a solid partnership between the patient and physician.  This has been the cornerstone of our practice since its inception. Whether it’s creating a more youthful appearance, enhancing an attribute or correcting an abnormality or injury, when you come to us for a consultation,  we’ll listen to your needs and  work with you to reach results that meet or exceed your expectations.  I'm always pleased when I help my clients gain the confidence of knowing they look their absolute best! 


About Dr. Jones

Dr. Michael E. Jones is a board certified cosmetic surgeon. He is a native of the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and received his medical education at some of the best training programs in New York City (NYC).  He attained his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College in New York City. From there he went on to obtain his medical degree from the prestigious Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons where he graduated with honors in the top 5% of his class.  While there, he received numerous honors including acceptance into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society and receipt of numerous scholarships for outstanding academic performance.  

Dr. Jones then completed his surgical internship at Mt Sinai Medical Center in NYC. Subsequently, he completed his training in Head and Neck Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center training under renowned surgeons dedicated to complex Head and Neck Reconstruction.  Dr. Jones apprenticed and completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Mt Sinai, studying under an internationally acclaimed leader in the field.  Subsequently, Dr. Jones received additional general cosmetic surgical training apprenticing under several reknowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. 

Dr. Jones is board certified by both the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Jones is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery.  Dr. Jones has innovated several plastic surgical procedures and has published several articles in peer review journals.  His special interest is in ethnic rhinoplasty (nose job) and scarless surgery for people of color. He has performed over 1,000 rhinoplasty procedures and has developed techniques that eliminate the need for foreign implants.  Dr. Jones has appeared as a cosmetic surgery expert on CBS, FOX, MY9, BET Nightly News, The Ed Gordon Show, and the A.R. Bernard show.  Dr. Jones was also recognized in 2008 as a top plastic surgeon by Black Enterprise in their "America's Leading Doctors" issue.  This year, Dr. Jones has already been featured in several national magazine articles including Glamour magazine and Black Enterprise.
